This article details updates to the GS1, EPCIS, and GDST standards that explain why certain fields have changed over time.
Trade Item Condition Code
Many of the values previously found under the trade item condition code in v3.1.26 (Class Details | GDSN | Navigator | GS1) have been deprecated in version v3.1.27 of the EPCIS standards. These values can now be found under the fish seafood presentation code (Class Details | GDSN | Navigator | GS1).
Physical Location Name
The name property for physical locations has been updated to gs1:physicalLocationName to match the most recent GS1 Web Vocabulary (gs1:physicalLocationName).
Full Chain Capability Test
Clarification was added to Step 3 regarding the requirements for the solution provider data. The data generated in Step 2 and imported into the Solution Provider's traceability system should be unique and demonstrate the full CTE/KDE matric of the GDST standard.
