On-vessel transformation events refer to any type of transformation that happens on a vessel, rather than on land.

Certificates
An on-vessel processing event must carry at least one complete certificate in its certificationList, either on the event or in the ilmd. GDST 2.0 does not name certification types in its normative event profiles; the controlled list of supported values is maintained in the Certification Types article.
